Google Adwords
LimeSwell Media propose to manage your Google Adwords campaign.
Google Adwords is Google’s main revenue (around 21 billions USD in 2008). Adwords are called Pay-Per-Click ads. This means advertisers pay Google only if people click on their ads and not every time Google display them. Adwords are also called sponsored links.
Adwords ads are displayed on the right column of Google search result page for selected sets of keywords typed in by each user. Google Adwords system organizes auctions among advertisers for the best position in this column.
Example:
“Travel Agency A” wants to appear when users type in “Flight Miami New York”. Google will basically propose a $2 pay-per-click price for the 1st position.
“Travel Agency B” also want to appear in 1st position for the same set of keyword. Google will then ask for a $2.10 price in pay-per-click and “Travel Agency A” will then be downgraded to the second position.
These positions are not permanent and auctions have to be made sometimes on tens of thousands of keywords sets. Properly managing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns is also very time consuming and can become very technical as it requires statistics knowledge as well as technological know how for the implementation.
